1. How long should the posters last?
1.75 years if left on continually. After that the intensity would drop to about half the light level for another year.

2. What’s the warranty period?
The warranty is 3 months from delivery.

3. How long from ordering the posters to delivery? Are the delivery costs included in the prices already quoted? Are the posters sent by sea or air?
Delivery from placement of order is approximately 45 days.  However this depends on how long the client takes in deciding/agreeing on a design and sequencing.  Carriage is in addition to the poster costs.  It’s up to them whether they want it delivered by air (expensive but quick – usually 2-3 days) or sea ( much cheaper but longer – 3-4 weeks).

4. In what form does the purchaser need to submit the artwork? FTP site, CD, email?
Either ftp or CD would work – ideally if they have an ftp site already set up they could let us have the login details to download the artwork. If artwork is small (i.e. less than 10MB) it can be emailed.

5. Does the purchaser have to supply a single image or could we create a single poster from a number of separate images (ie one image of a bottle, another of a model etc)?
We could design a poster for them but that would incur additional design costs and would also slow up the process.

6. What resolution do we work at (print or screen)?
Print (300 dpi)

7. Are the leads included in the prices quoted?
Yes – leads and converters come included to UK specs.  The converters work from 110 – 240 volts.

8. Could the leads be supplied in white as well as grey?
The leads currently come in just grey.  However, the supplier is looking into white leads.

9. Can the posters withstand moisture? Can they be safely used in the open air?
They can withstand high moisture levels you’d find in salons.  They are water-resistant but not waterproof (i.e. they cannot be submerged in water).

10. By what means might the posters be displayed? Can the posters be mounted within a frame? Can the posters be double-sided (ie two stuck together)? Might they overheat?
Overheating is not an issue – so things can be stuck on the back, they can be used back-to-back and can be mounted in frames. We can also supply acrylic frames if required (at extra cost).
